I am including the scriptures that are about the suddenness of destruction that comes from GOD,and who should fear it and who shouldn't:
It is written, "be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh. " Proverbs 3:35, KJV
"Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken with out remedy. "Proverbs 6:15; KJV
"For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? " Proverbs 24:22, KJV
"He that being often reproved, hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. " Proverbs 29:1, KJV
"For they will turn away...from following Me, that they may serve other gods; so will the anger of THE LORD be kindled...and destroy ...suddenly. " Deuteronomy 7: 4. ,KJV
"And Hezekiah [the prophet] rejoiced and all the people , that GOD had prepared the people; for the thing was done suddenly. " 2 Chronicles 29: 36, KJV
"Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. And HE shall break it as the breaking of the potter's vessel that is broken in pieces; HE shall not spare; so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it, a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. " Isaiah 30: 15, KJV
"Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth; and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off; and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly; which thou shalt not know. " Isaiah 47: 11, KJV
"Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them? Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city and of all that dwelleth therein. " Habakkuk 2: 7-8, KJV
I am not interpreting those scriptures. If you do not understand them, then look them up and read the verses that precede them and the verses after them for context. I always think that when GOD caused something to be written several times in the Bible, HE meant it as a perpetual notice of HIS character and HIS methods, and continuity from generation to generation.

This is the display I made of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business where I got a second education and graduated with a business degree.
This is my selfie [Gloria Poole,RN, artist] in spring 2014 but I look the same except that I am thinner and my hair is longer but I still put it in lop-sided pony tail when I walk about or create art to prevent hair from blowing into my eyes or into paint.That is also me that you see in the "about me" box on right side of this blog and I am wearing a dark grey winter wool hat because that photo was taken of me in state of Georgia in Jan 2010 and my family in Georgia saw me wearing that hat and so did other people. So I am leaving that photo also on this blog for that reason.
This is one of my photos of the U S flag I photographed on walkabout to remind all I am a U S citizen with all civil liberties including freedom of Press, freedom to worship THE LORD GOD, and freedom to associate with whomever I want or not to associate with those GOD labels "abomination" and freedom to protest governments.
